Piranema offshore platform: cleaner production case study

Knowing the growing demand of the Piranema offshore platform, it is of utmost importance that means are created to optimize the methodologies used, for the implementation of cleaner production. A data survey was conducted by the involved managements of Petrobras and of the contractor, to specify the inputs and raw materials that are used in production processes and to identify critical activities. From that, a quantification and identification of the causes of waste generation and viable opportunities was made, through the knowledge and experience of the professionals that make up the ecotime. In the present work, a case study was carried out that proceeded from the techniques developed and supported by the CNTL, which are fundamental for the success of the practice of cleaner production (PmaisL).
