This study describes the development of a mobile application prototype aimed at improving vaccination adherence in the municipality of Cáceres, through informative resources and reminders of vaccination dates. The main objective was to create a tool that would minimize vaccination delays caused by forgetting scheduled dates and increase public knowledge about vaccines. We use an applied research methodology, of a descriptive nature and a qualitative approach. The results indicate that the prototype managed to achieve an elevated level of usability, classified as extremely high by test users. Additionally, the application demonstrated the potential to serve as an effective tool in improving vaccination coverage, facilitating access to essential information, and improving health care for the population. This study confirms that the integration of mobile technologies in public health can be a valuable strategy to increase adherence to vaccination campaigns.
