The present study aims to present the leisure interests of university students entering the Physical Education graduation course. The study is characterized as descriptive and exploratory. The study included 71 university students from the first semester of the Physical Education course, 36 males and 35 females, freshmen in the two academic semesters of 2019. The instrument for diagnosing the leisure practices of young people was the Report of Daily Activities and Occupations. Regarding the leisure interests of the participants, it was possible to highlight that the interest in virtual leisure presented 90.1% among young people, followed by physical leisure activities (83.1%), social (74.6%) and intellectual (73 .2%) and the activities with less frequency were artistic leisure (40.8%), tourism (36.6%) and manual (32.4%). With these data, it is possible to observe the relationships of contemporary leisure and help leisure professionals to organize, plan and execute actions in leisure education, to form subjects with understandings on how to use their available time in a more active and positive way, since the motivations for the interests of leisure are built from the social relations of the social actors involved, because from our experiences and interests lived throughout our life history, it is possible to perceive how much leisure is connected.
