Innovative products in microbreweries located in the upper Jequitinhonha Valley/MG

The theme of innovation on the part of microbreweries has gained relevance in the last decades, leveraged by an increasing participation of craft or special beer in the Brazilian liquor market, where the opening of new niche markets through new products and services has been perceived. The need to develop studies on innovative products shows great relevance in this context, as these are what determine the survival and success of a company in the market, more specifically in this article we will address the cases of microbreweries. The purpose of this article is to investigate, map practices and processes that contribute to innovation processes in the production of special beers made by breweries located in a historic city in the upper Vale do Jequitinhonha/MG. The results show the processes and actions that were used to make innovation happen in these organizations.
